Mexibera was born with the idea of introducing the guayabera to the taste of the American market, very appreciated in Mexico by local people, the guayabera is very popular in the state of Yucatan since it is considered a garment for formal events. Our goal is to introduce it to the taste of young adults by modifying its original style with modern designs using complicated hand embroidery made by local artisans. we have sold locally in Albuquerque,Nm since June 2020 and in September 2021 we opened our store on Etsy.
Handcrafted process is a treasure which only some privileged can appreciate ,textile artisans remind us of time, materials, tools, but above all , the emotion, talent and intelligence of the hands owned by their creators
